Fountain of Hope is a non-profit, volunteer-based group of women. These ladies share their personal experiences with pregnancy primarily through the Respect For Life education program.
The goal of the program is to inform young people about the positive choices they can make with their lives, specifically when facing an unplanned pregnancy. Our speakers are passionate about making a difference in the lives of teens. Young people who are faced with this difficult decision often don’t know where to turn. Each speaker shares her story, offering hope and a unique glimpse into the lives of others who have been faced with the same realities. It is a powerful and vital message.
Fountain of Hope is available to speak to many groups, but the primary audience is students (Grade 9 through University). Our speakers are able to share individually or as a group. We regularly present to Grade 9 and 10, in both semesters, typically over a 2 day period.
The purpose of Fountain of Hope is two-fold. The first is education, as mentioned above. The second, support. The women of Fountain of Hope represent all backgrounds concerning pregnancy. Women needing encouragement during pregnancy or healing after an abortion decision are encouraged to reach out to the speakers via email. We offer a safe place to share, free of judgement and full of grace and support.
